Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin postponed to May

The competition is moved from 17 to 22 May 2021 to facilitate the movements of all participants.

The indicators of the pandemic are improving and it shows that the evolution is being positive, but the scenario for April is still not the best to dispute the event as you deserve, that's why we postpone the competition for 1 month.

After reaching a consensus with local and regional institutions, the Andalusian Cycling Federation, the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation and the International Cycling Union, we believe it is appropriate to postpone the 11th edition of Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin from the 17th to the 22nd of May to give more guarantees to all participants. The postponement by one month will ensure that all riders will be able to have more mobility guarantees to attend the event.

The organisers would like to thank all the registered for their understanding and trust in Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin, and we are fully convinced that the competition will be able to take place on this new date.

The competition will take place from Monday 17th May to Saturday 22nd May, with bib collection on Sunday 16th May.

Thus, the calendar of Bike Race by Octagon Esedos events will be more compact, since La Rioja Bike Race presented by Pirelli, scheduled from May 14th to 16th, will also be moved to the last weekend of June, being from June 25th to 27th the celebration of the 7th edition in Logroño.

All bikers registered to Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin will automatically keep their registration for 17-22 May 2021. Those who cannot attend the new date can ask for a full refund of the registration fee until Monday 22nd March, or postpone it to the 2022 edition.
