A lot of equality and the promise of great battles between the favourites in the women's category.

Lejla Njemčević, Mónica Calderón, Irina Lützelschwab, Natalia Fischer, Janina Wüst and Stefanie Walter are, among others, the main contenders of this edition.

Bosnian Lejla Njemčević, world cup winner in Nove Mesto in 2023, together with Sweden's Terese Andersson, national XCM runner-up, are the favourites. Njemčević, who was already on the podium last year, has shown more than once what she is capable of - keep an eye on this pair!

Germany's Lützelschwab, from Team Bulls Swiss and last year's winner, will be competing alongside Spain's Natalia Fischer from SCOTT CALA BANDIDA. Fischer's talent to accompany the German to a repeat victory is beyond doubt, with four Spanish championships and two European XCM championships to her name.

The Swiss Janina Wüst and the Dutch rider Rosa Van Doorn, under the colours of Buff Megamo, will fight for the podium. Wüst, an expert in this kind of competition, will try to maintain the prestigious position she achieved with her third place in 2023.
Other names that will surely be protagonists at the head of the race will be Mónica Calderón, Panamerican XCM champion, and her teammate in Cannondale ISB, Tessa Kortekaas.

Txell Figueras, who has recently moved to Cannondale ISB, is counting on Claudia Peretti to add her name to the list of winners of the race. The Italian is the national XCM champion.

The Canyon Sidi MTB Team presents Stefanie Walter and Line Burquier. The former already knows what it's like to compete in the Andalucía Bike Race, having finished second on the podium last year. On the other hand, the young Frenchwoman Burquier has a good track record in the U23 category.

There are 340 km to go to decide who will climb to the top step of the podium. Equality and uncertainty promise a great spectacle.
