The 14th edition of the Andalucía Bike Race by GARMIN presented in Cordoba

More than 600 cyclists will gather on 26 February in Bedmar for the first stage.

This Thursday, the Royal Stables of Cordoba hosted the presentation of the 14th edition of the Andalucía Bike Race by GARMIN, which will take place from 26/02 to 02/03 in Jaén and Cordoba. Institutions, riders, sponsors and organisers gathered in an unbeatable setting to welcome this edition.

Among others, the event was attended by Francisco Palomares, Mayor of Villafranca de Córdoba, Rafael Ángel Moreno, Mayor of Adamuz, Francisco Javier Perales, Deputy for Agriculture of the Jaén Provincial Council, José María Álvarez, Sports Councillor of Jaén, Eduardo Lucena, Territorial Delegate for Sports of the Andalusian Regional Government, Salvador Fuentes, President of the Córdoba Provincial Council, and José María Bellido, Mayor of Córdoba.

In addition, the event was attended by several riders such as Natalia Fischer and Sergio Mantecón (from the Scott Cala Bandida team), Miguel Muñoz and Roberto Bou (Klimatiza Toteemi Cabberty), Txell Figueras (Cannondale ISB) and Ismael Esteban (BH Vouzela Logos Energía).

This edition presents a route of 340 km and 9,400 metres of unevenness, which will be distributed in 6 stages in Bedmar, Jaén, Villafranca de Córdoba, Adamuz and Córdoba.

One of the many new features of this edition is the first of the four venues. The town of Bedmar in Jaén will open the competition as the start and finish of stage 1. The city of Jaén will host the start of the second and third stage, and, in stage 4, Adamuz will take over the competition in a stage that will take the cyclists to Villafranca de Córdoba. And, in stage 5, one of the highlights of this edition will take place. Cordoba will host the Skoda Super Stage, a 91-kilometre day that will feature some brand new sections, and which will undoubtedly be decisive. As a final climax, the Andalucía Bike Race by GARMIN 2024 will close with a final time trial of 27.9 kilometres in Córdoba, which will serve to crown the winners of an edition that promises to be unforgettable.

As the main novelty, the Andalucía Bike Race by GARMIN will also have a live streaming on stage 6, which will allow the final outcome of the XCT time trial starting and finishing in Cordoba to be followed live. The live broadcast will be available on Saturday 02/03 on the official YouTube channel.

It will once again be a luxury edition

The Andalucía Bike Race by GARMIN will bring together the best XCM specialists in the world. In men, the names of Wout Alleman, Fabian Rabensteiner, Hans Becking, Tiago Ferreira, Andreas Seewald and Sergio Mantecón stand out, and in women, Lejla Njemčević, Mónica Calderón, Irina Lützelschwab, Natalia Fischer, Janina Wüst and Stefanie Walter stand out.

A total of 600 participants will gather in Bedmar to start what promises to be an unforgettable edition.
